Drew Stout

Drew was also born and raised in Hobbs, New Mexico and graduated from Hobbs High School in 2002. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and his law degree from Baylor University Law School. Prior to attending law school, Drew worked at the U.S. Capitol for several Members of Congress. After graduating law school, Drew also returned to Hobbs to practice alongside his father, Mark, at Stout & Stout Lawyers. Today, Drew and Mark continue the legacy of Stout & Stout Lawyers and the Stout Family’s service of over 60 years to the people of Lea County and the Permian Basin.
Drew regularly represents clients who have been injured due to the negligence of others and has become a trusted personal injury attorney in Hobbs for individuals and families in the region. He has handled a wide variety of complex cases, including those involving catastrophic truck accidents that require a Hobbs semi-truck accident lawyer with a deep understanding of both state and federal transportation laws.
Drew is a licensed member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the New Mexico Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He also represents surviving family members as a Hobbs wrongful death attorney, helping them seek justice and financial relief after the loss of a loved one.
Drew is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in New Mexico, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. In his free time, Drew enjoys hunting, fishing, watching basketball, and spending time with his wife Jessica and their two children.
